The last but not the least
When we first heard the news, that the building team of Roche pharmaceutical plant was coming for their last charity trip to Belarus, we got very upset. That meant that our old friends, whom we have done so much work together, whom we shared so many nice moments with, were not going to come back. So we tried to make their week as nice as possible. Beside the great work that the lads have done on the house for a family with a special needs child, the team had a chance to visit their friends in Cherven, whom they helped out a few years ago, and also the two independent living houses in Yazovki, which they helped building.
The week flew in a blink of an eye, but for the 6 days, the 10 men did an enormous amount of work: insolated the house and did plastering, put up the railings for the stairs, did the inside and outside tiling, made a fantastic stone pathway, ceilings in the bathroom, finished the roof underneath with boards.
The week was very productive and we all enjoyed the time spent together.
And as the lads say, it may be the last Roche trip, but not the last trip of the men involved. And we are so happy to hear it!
Well done to all of ye, and million thanks to Tom, Fergus, Frankie, Eddie, Joe, Nickey, Martin, Eamonn, Martie, Jim for your support and all you do for people of Belarus!
Can’t wait to have you back again!
