We can never stop admiring all the Irish volunteers that keep coming to the children of Belarus every year. They keep them in their hearts, and cherish every moment until they meet again. Today we want to share some lovely moments of the last few weeks.
A few new people from Ireland and the UK as well as some of the old Irish friends were happy to spend time with the children and young adults in both Gorodische and Cherven at the end of June, beginning of July.
Lovely nurses Sarah, Rachel, Ciara and Siabh visited Cherven their first time this year. They brought all their love and care and big desire to help, and they were rewarded with so much affection from the children and older boys and girls. Entertainments in Minsk and in town of Cherven, sensory sessions in the sensory room, and plenty of games and just some chats and walks made everyone happy and grateful.
A group of BCP volunteers Nicole, Clare, Deirdre, Sarah, Ciara and Aisling headed to Gorodische at the very beginning of July and fired up the place. They were followed by another group, who keeps coming regular - Rosie, Don, Julia, Joanne. It is always a blast with those people. So much fun, and love and care, and surely unforgettable moments.
Ruth, who have been coming to Belarus for about 8 years now, tries to go to both places whenever she gets a chance to go out. Having some good Russian is very helpful, so she is a brilliant friend to many older boys and girls in Cherven and Gorodische and a fantastic help with the children in cots.
We say many thanks to these fantastic people for all they do for the children!!! Keep up the good work!
Please, check the album below for more photographs! And more will follow soon!
We are looking forward to more wonderful moments!
